Face of South Africa 2014

Competition:     Miss Denim & Tiara 2014

Venue:                Rhodesfield, Kempton Park

Date:                   15 March 2014

I’m going to support a local competition with some of my friends today.  The dress code was denim with bling.  Each contestant also had to bring a handbag and a pair of socks; it was for a special charity project.

The competition was very different than the ones I’m used to.  But it was for charity so I gave it a chance.

I was crowned the Winner!

Competition:     Little Miss World SA
Venue:                ACPP Hall, Pretoria

Date:                   1 March 2014

Can’t believe a year has passed and that it is time for Little Miss World SA again.

There were three divisions today:  Smart Casual Wear, Evening Wear and Talent.  We also had to do an on-stage introduction and question.

Smart Casual Ramp:  I felt like a real little lady in my outfit, thank you Mom and Grandma King.  Luckily Mom did my hair at home already and all I had to do was change into my first outfit.  I’m so ready for this!
My smart casual outfit:

After the Smart Casual ramp, we quickly had to go change into our talent outfits. I was super excited and nervous at the same time. I was going to do a modern Little Red Riding Hood dance and drama scene. I’ve never danced before, not to mention on stage in front of a crowd. I’ve been practising very hard the last week. Time for my category…… Mom handed in my music and I’m waiting on stage. When the music started, I just did my best and I could see everyone enjoyed it, even the judges were laughing! So glad I remembered everything and I had the most amazing time on stage performing. I love it!!

My talent outfit:  (with a red cape on)

Quick change into our evening wear and then back to the stage. After walking the ramp, I had to do my introduction and then draw a question out of the bowl. That was an easy one and answered without hesitation.

I joined mom at the table and all we have to do now is to wait for the crowning. Mom and I sat at the table colouring in and I also had a quick bite to eat.

I was crowned 1st Princess!

Competition:      Miss Petite Teen South Africa Universal

Venue:                ACPP Hall, Pretoria

Date:                   12 October 2013

Day 1:  12 October 2013

This is my first competition after my birthday so I will be competing in the older category.  Mom is away on a work conference but she is coming back from Bela-Bela this morning so that I can go to the competition.  Thanks Mom!
We only had two divisions today, Smart Casual and Evening wear.  We also had to do an on-stage introduction, of course I love talking on stage!
My outfits for the today:

I was so happy when I was crowned 2nd Princess!

A week later I was asked to do some promotion work …. so exciting!
